Pebble Mosaics are sometimes associated with sad events.I've designed this mosaic for a couple whose son lost sadly his life in a helicopter crash presumably over Crator Lake in New Zealand.His father has brought this green mint Schist rock from the vicinity of the crash.The size of the mosaic is 2000mm x 2000mm.All slabs are done precast except for the pebbles around the central rock which were inserted in situ.Brown/red and black polished pebbles from China as well as white Moondance pebbles from Indonesia have been used in this mosaic.
