Toucan Whirl

Reminiscences of the beautiful art of the Incas expressed through a different medium, namely through pebble mosaics.The birds are from a frieze in Chan Chan which was the capital of Chimu dynasty.

All precast pebble mosaic 2m in diameter.

Pebbles used are yellow polished pebbles from China,light blue/green" Polar Mist "pebbles from Indonesia and "Autumn Harvest" pebbles from New Zealand which are earthy yellow and green/grayish in colour.
